Evening Echo Women’s Mini Marathon
The Cork Women’s Mini Marathon was founded in 1982. The event is hailed as Munster’s premier 4-mile road race and it has grown to become one of the biggest sporting participation events outside Dublin and attracts around 8,000 participants each year, many of whom are fundraising for their chosen charity. The race attracts women of all ages and abilities. The Evening Echo has been title sponsors since the inception of the race and is very proud of this fantastic event.
The race is run over four miles, starting at the city end of Centre Park Road at 1pm and taking in The Marina, Blackrock Village, Ballintemple, Maryville, Monahan Road and finishing in Kennedy Park.
